Supporting Pastors

The story of Harvestime Ministries began with a calling.

In the early 2000s, Pastor Gregory Prude Sr, a five-fold ministry pastor from Jamaica Queens New York, answered a call from God to travel to Zimbabwe and minister to its people. While serving there, Gregory and his wife Kimberly poured their hearts into building churches, mentoring pastors, and strengthening local communities through faith, leadership, and discipleship.

Over time, the ministry grew into a network of churches and leaders throughout Zimbabwe. Many of the pastors leading these churches today were personally mentored and spiritually developed under Harvestime Ministries Church. Their mission was never simply to build churches, but to raise leaders who would continue serving their communities long after they were gone.

In 2004, Kimberly & Gregory with their family returned to the United States. Although the churches in Zimbabwe remained active and continued operating as best they could, the distance created new challenges. Gregory and his wife continued supporting the pastors and congregations from afar while also raising their growing family and managing limited resources. Despite the hardships, the connection between the ministry in America and the churches in Zimbabwe never disappeared.

After Gregory’s passing, the vision he carried did not end.

Kimberly, having grown spiritually through Lionheart Church in Austell, felt the need to continue the work that her husband, Gregory, had started years earlier. Recognizing that Lionheart Church was the driving force that initially stepped in to sustain and support the churches in Zimbabwe, she felt deeply moved to build upon that foundation. Out of this shared calling, she founded Harvestime Ministries as a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the pastors, churches, vulnerable children, and families connected to the ministry in Zimbabwe.

With a generous $50,000 donation from Lionheart Church, Kimberly was able to begin rebuilding support for the Zimbabwean churches and communities that had once been planted through Harvestime Ministries. What began as Harvestime Ministries evolved into what is now known as Lionheart Zimbabwe — a continuation of the same mission, rooted in faith, compassion, and a commitment to serving the people of Zimbabwe.

Today, Lionheart Zimbabwe continues to provide spiritual guidance, community support, food assistance, school fees, uniforms, housing support, and care for vulnerable children and families. More than a ministry, it is the continuation of a legacy built on obedience, sacrifice, and the belief that even across continents, God’s work can continue through willing hearts.
